How does face search actually work?

You upload one selfie. It is compared against the faces detected in the photos of that single gallery, and the images where the match is confident enough come back as your results. It never searches across other events, and it never tries to put a name to a face.

Do I need an account?

No. You can search a gallery and buy from it without signing up. An account is worth it if you attend more than one event: it keeps every photo you appear in together, and it tells you when new ones from an event you attended go live.

What happens to my selfie?

It is used for that search and nothing else, never for advertising, never to identify you by name. The selfie itself is not saved: it is sent for the comparison and discarded straight after. What is kept is the facial data indexed from the event's photos, deleted automatically after 180 days, and you can ask for it to be deleted sooner. Face search is deliberately strict: it would rather miss a photo of you than show you someone else's. Shots in profile, behind sunglasses, or from far away can fall below the matching threshold. You can always browse the full gallery, and if you have an account you can tell us which additional photos are yours.

How soon after the event can I search?

As soon as the gallery is published, which for red carpet work is usually the same night for a first selection and within a few days for the full set. Exact timing depends on the event.

If you walked a red carpet, attended a premiere or sat front row at a show we covered, your photos and videos are already on VT Media. Open the gallery for that event, upload one selfie, and face search returns the frames you appear in, usually in a few seconds, instead of scrolling thousands of images or waiting for someone to send you a folder.

What you get back

Results are the same files everyone else sees in the gallery, filtered down to you. For a red carpet evening that usually means arrivals and portraits as stills, plus video clips of the moment you walked. Photos are edited, not straight off the card, and every download is the full-resolution file rather than a preview.

Beyond individual photos, two other things can be bought from the same gallery: raw clips, which are the unedited video takes, and an edited vertical reel cut from the footage of your evening. What is available depends on what was shot at that event.

Who shoots the photos you are looking for

Browse the gallery directly, which is always open. If you have an account, you can also mark the photos that are yours, and they stay in your library alongside the ones the search found.

For a private link you were sent by email or message, open that link instead: it already points at your own selection, and no search is needed.
